Sofia Nuño

Sofia is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, she has been working at the UA since 2011 ever since she was a freshman. Her first job at the UofA was in Canyon Café as a Barista, and later as a Shift Supervisor in Starbucks. Since 2014 Sofia has been working at the Teaching Learning and Sociocultural Studies Department and the Dean’s Office at the College of Education. She graduated from UofA in May 2016 with a double major in Latin American Studies and Sociology with a Minor in Pre-Law. Sofia is now pursuing a Master in Legal Studies with a professional specialization in criminal law and human rights at the James E. Rogers College of Law. Sofia believes in adequate and fair representation for everyone, and hopes to provide a voice to create more positive and unifying environment across campus.
